David Johnson is the interim Chief Diversity & Social Responsibility Officer, overseeing the company’s diversity and inclusion, and environmental, societal and governance (ESG) initiatives. 

A tenured member of the CSG leadership team, Johnson also serves as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for the company. Since joining in 2003, he has been integral to the CSG global legal team with experience in investigations, human resources and government relations. Prior to CSG, Johnson served in the public sector as a Deputy County Attorney for both Lancaster County and Douglas County in Nebraska. Earlier in his career, Johnson’s public service work included roles with the United States Department of Justice and United States Department of Labor. 

An advocate of the underserved through volunteerism and board service, Johnson served as a TeamMates mentor for over a decade and served on the board of Centris Federal Credit Union. Most recently, he worked with We Make Change, a social enterprise non-profit and partner of CSG, to further opportunities for underrepresented communities in technology and health information. 

Johnson holds a B.A. from Lenoir-Rhyne College and a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.
